There are many evidences of the divine inspiration of the Bible. Fulfilled prophecy is among them. Hundreds of events were predicted, in exact detail, hundreds of years before they happened. When finally fulfilled, every single detail came to pass as predicted. The only explanation is that the Scriptures are of divine origin, and that the prophets spoke and wrote as they were guided by the Holy Spirit (II Peter 1:21). Over 300 prophecies relate to the coming Messiah and Savior. In this limited article, we consider a few of these prophecies.
